February 28, 2013 - These two monsters have been best friends lately.  They have been all about playing make-believe.  They dress up and build forts and go hunting...and try to sneak up on Daddy and scare him!

February 27, 2013 - Just when I think that I find a picture that both Tyler and I will love (we have problems on agreeing about decorating styles), I'm wrong again.  I found this at the hospital gift shop when I had Macy in for an appointment yesterday.  I bought it on the spot because I just knew that Tyler would like it and I loved it.  Wrong again.  He didn't like it at all.  Oh well, I'm going to find a spot for it in the house anyway.

 February 26, 2013 - I decided it was time to start making some of the recipes that I pin on Pinterest or from the blogs I follow.  This is one of those recipes.  I found it on the Pioneer Woman Cooks and is called Strawberry Oatmeal Bars.  The original recipe is found on Food Network.  I don't always follow recipes, though and added about 3/4 cup of creamy peanut butter.  Let me tell you, they were delicious!

February 25, 2013 - Jeffrey and Macy had my phone all evening taking pictures of random items in the house to show Grandma over text messages.  This is a picture Jeffrey took of Macy...good thing, too because I didn't use my camera once today.

February 24, 2013 - The kids and I had a plan all weekend to take pictures on Sunday to surprise Tyler with.  Well, Tyler surprised us and got home at 6:00 am on Sunday and then the weather wasn't very cooperative.  It was a bit cooler than the previous days and there wasn't a cloud in the sky so the kids were really struggling with the light.  We'll try for another day.

February 23, 2013 - Even though I had a pretty nice picture of all of my bountiful basket fruit, I couldn't resist using this picture that Macy took of Jeffrey and his new Nerf gun.

February 22, 2013 - Another day off from school meant that Jeffrey and Macy got to have friends over again.  Bridger loves sharks as much as Jeffrey so the kids were busy looking at shark cards and learning all kinds of fun facts about different types of sharks.

February 21, 2013 - This is Levi, my best friend Shelly's son.  Jeffrey and Macy had his sister's, Alison and Sophia, come and play for the day so when I dropped the girls off, we stayed for supper and I got to visit with Shelly.  Hopefully we can get together again soon.  This winter has been way too busy for the two of us!

February 20, 2013 - Once again, I didn't use my camera at all today.  At the last minute I used my phone to take a picture of Tyler's Star Quilt that he received in high school.  I should try to find a story about the Star Quilt Ceremony that our district does during basketball tournaments.

February 19, 2013 - Jeffrey and Macy were playing so nicely together tonight.  Just as I was about to get a picture of them playing, they ran and collided heads.  This is what I got instead.  :)

February 18, 2013 - I made myself a sweet potato loaded tonight.  Guess next time I need to put the broiler on low!  Luckily, the marshmallows pulled right off so I just added a few new ones and started over.  :)

February 17, 2013 - It's been warming up here a bit lately and Tyler decided today was the day to get the ice house off the river.  Macy pouted the whole way home because she was mad that she wouldn't get to ice fish anymore!

February 16, 2013 - Otis and I spent the day in Bismarck today.  We started out at the spa and finished the day shopping!

February 9, 2013 - I took some senior pictures for Devin today.  Three years ago I took them of his sister, Kelsey.  Our favorite of her was of her jumping like this in a wheat field.  Of course, Devin had to give us his impression by his big monster truck!

 February 8, 2013 - This is the difference between how Macy and Jeffrey watch a high school basketball game. 

Macy = get dressed up in cute Warrior clothes and play with my friends.

Jeffrey = watch the game, memorize the game, know the scores, get concerned about who will win. 

To me, Macy's version is much better.  That's my version too!

February 7, 2013 - I actually took this picture on February 8th, but decided since I was at a meeting all day in Sidney and then had parent-teacher conferences all night, it would be close enough since it was a picture I could take any day of the week.  This is part of a big picture I have in my kitchen.  Maybe on another day I forget to take a picture, I'll take a picture of the whole thing.

February 6, 2013 - Yes, I still have some Christmas decorations up...just artwork that the kids made, that I can't decide if I should keep or toss.  I love this one that Jeffrey made in school.  In order to make the Grinch grin, he would "Let him watch NFL with me."

February 4, 2013 - I have never been a pop (more like caffeine) drinker.  I couldn't drink it for most of my life because of my heart.  But I've been allowing myself to have a Diet Dr. Pepper on Fridays along with popcorn for breakfast (what a treat!).  Let's just say that I notice a difference is my pep and step on those mornings.  I think I could used to have a little pick-me-up each morning.  Though, I'm not ready to commit to it yet - I still don't like the idea of so much caffeine or the aspartame...and I don't like coffee unless you add a bunch of calories and sugar.  Ah, the dilemmas in life!

 February 4, 2013 - It isn't often that I am on the other side of the camera, but Macy thought that after I took a picture of Tex and her that she should take a picture of Tex and me.

February 2, 2013 - There are some days that I have to take a picture at 11:00 at night to make sure to have a picture of the day; and then there are days like today in which I have a hard time picking just one.  I think the top one would have to be my one pick.  Jefferson, Jenna, and the kids were here for the weekend and after we got Anny and Papa's bathroom demolished, we got to have some fun on the snowmobile and sled.  It was beautiful out!

January 30, 2013 - Macy was up puking tonight and screaming in pain that her side hurt. So Tyler and I headed to the emergency room...Macy turned out to be just fine, thank goodness.
