After traveling all through the night, we left the airport and headed south to the Everglades. The whole time, I was hoping to see just one alligator. If I saw just one, I was going to consider myself lucky. Well, I misunderstood the Everglades. We saw a hundred alligators and probably ten different species of birds and a soft-shelled turtle. It was awesome!
